Totally agree
Just finished a game where the catcher for the opposing team was Jermaine Dye, who played the whole game without a passed ball, and who threw out three of three base stealers. And who were the basestealers - well Roberto Alomar (36 of 42 in real life) and Kenny Lofton (24 for 30 in real life). Meanwhile my catcher, Ivan Rodriguez, gets stolen on and throws the ball into the outfield.
This is just too frustrating - owners who build legitimate teams should be able to take advantage of teams that don't have available players, not get hurt by it. I have four very good basestealers in Lofton, Alomar, Rodriguez, and Sanders, and I can't use them to run the other team into the ground when they have Jermaine Dye catching?
There is a difference between randomness (like Rodriguez throwing it away) and absurdity (Dye throwing two of the best percentage basestealers in the game).
