This is standard operating procedure... Every year it is the same way.

Despite what the manual says Mike uses the "off day" as an additional day for home teams to play their games. In effect the home team for games 1&2 has a total of 3 days to play games 1-2 and submit lineups for games 3-5. The off day between games 5&6 is handled the same way.

They've been doing it this way for several years and if you scroll down on the bulletin board you'll probably find posts to that effect.
