Names of managers past deadline
Of the 10 series not played yet, four have unmanaged teams at home. The commish knows no one will play those games, so why not turn the robot on as soon as the series begins? The remaining six managers are: Jeff Brown, Bill Dyer, Mike Miele, David Milner, Greg Jackson, & Robert Copeland. I have played in leagues with Brown, Milner, and Copeland and I do not believe any of them have been active for years. Brown left C Schilling on his farm team for the entire season in 2004. I don't know Dyer, Miele, or Jackson but I suspect they are inactive too. I commented in a thread earlier this month that neglected teams are a threat to the future of PB. If you don't care enough about your team to play home playoff games, why keep your team? I think PB needs to remove all owners who are not active and see how many unmanaged teams actually exist. We can decide about contraction of leagues and the future of PB after we find out how many owners we can actually count on.
