I would rather see PB with half as many leagues provided the leagues were full and ran smoothly than see us continue on our current path. I know this would be painful for some, myself included, but less time and revenue would be needed to administer fewer leagues. I would be willing to give up the benefits of being a founder and pay for teams beyond three. I would be willing to pay a little more per team. I would be willing to volunteer as a league deputy commissioner and help look after unmanaged teams. Having said all that, I do not think PB can ignore the problem of neglected teams simply because they generate revenue. I'm not even sure that they do generate revenue. It seems that mamy of the managers who own neglected teams have multiple teams. I suspect many of them are free. There are no individual consequences to owning multiple teams and then not looking after them. The consequences to PB are an overworked commish, poor customer service, and unhappy team owners. Brian you work in the financial world. How often do you see a company expand rapidly, open multiple stores, and then not make it financially (ie. krispy kreme). I fear that is what has happened to PB. There are more leagues than there are interested managers to support them. I would rather suffer an amputation so to speak then see the patient die of apathy.
