I had sent any player that could be injured to the minors, as well as my starters that if they pitched on their normal schedule would not be ready for the playoffs.

But I still needed 5 starters for the series and named five starters in the manager options, then selected them and submitted rosters for all five games - with my starter I wanted to use for Game 1 of the playoffs the starter for game 1 of the last series. I didn't want my bullpen tired out either of course so I did need some starters available.

Maybe I should have left my ace on the farm - but my point is I did everything right to have him be ready for game one and protect the rest of the team, and the system did not follow the instructions given. I appreciate that the players could have been in the minors, but you know, the game is supposed to work so that isn't required.
