I am a rookie GM making my fisrt appearance in the playoffs (wild card berth) and have a few questions.

Will a player perform in the playoffs similar to his season stats? Will his trends continue? For example, I have a lefty who killed lefties during the season, but hit only .200 against righties (he is a .300 hitter). Should I platoon him and only use him against lefties, or should I use him against righties anyway?
