As a founder...my thoughts

Posted By Steve B

The recent message from Mike on PB's status and forthcoming direction is very refreshing and positive. Let me commend Mike on his committment and positive attitude. It would be rather understandable for Mike to become bitter at some of the hard hitting criticisms he has received. But he has accepted the general consensus that customer service and communications have suffered. But, thank goodness, he is not throwing in the towel on this enjoyable and addicting game. Sure, little tweaks in programming have occurred over the years and the game exists in basically the same format as it was when introduced...but it's still a very good game that could become great when personnel are freed from customer service issues to implement improvements/changes that managers and Mike have discussed (and have been planned when resources are available). I offer my full support to PB in whatever manner I can be utilized to further our hobby along and ensure that the PB game and community remains viable. As for Mike, he is a man of integrity.
Also, very personable and accomodating. Many years ago, just a few months before PB's launch, I had travelled to Colorado on a business trip. I was able to contact Mike and made arrangements to meet with him. He welcomed me into his home and showed me the newly developed game's interface and structure. Later that day, we watched a playoff game between the Braves and Marlins (their first appearance in the playoffs). It was time well spent and I appreciated the opportunity to meet with Mike. So, if there is any function in which I can serve the PB community...just let me know.
