Addendums to my previous post.
1.) Everywhere I mention "The New York Team" I am referring to the New York Yankees of Sean Elliot (which is not to be confused with the New York Mulligans of Brian Brennan or the PB 99 Trad 3 New York Holy Bull of Elliott/Smiroldo.)
2.) If the Glavine trade is so bad then how come noone is complaining about other trades in that league that are just as bad (IMO).
I am not concerned about the Boston/New York trades affecting league integrity because I think that even if one of them is wrong they both want to improve their teams. What really bothers me is the team that is attempting to sell off all his talented players for rookie and free agent picks in hopes that he can get a reallocation draft and then still have all the picks after he goes through a reallocation draft. I addressed this concern to Mike Bravard and he told me to just let the guy dream because there were so few unowned teams that it was really unlikely there would be any reallocation drafts.
I will not name the owner publicly but if you are in the league and want to know e-mail me privately. I asked the guy "Would players X, Y, or Z help you as an upgrade to my previous offer for player A." The response was "Not really, I am hoping for a reallocation draft." (not an exact word for word quote but close enough). My personal solution to this situation is I won't trade with that team.
