I have waited to weigh in on Mike B. announcement for the new and improved PB. I share many of the thoughts already posted such as being cautiously optimistic and having a wait and see attitude. It sounded good, but then it had to in order to smooth ruffled feathers. The communication issue seems to be by far the biggest concern from most veteran managers. It seems the easiest item to fix, yet it has again failed to happen. I'm sure Mike will come back eventually and lay out another schedule and it may even work and be followed. The grand overhaul plans should be moved to the back burner and the simple process of finishing the WS for Trad, getting playoffs done on time for RT and LL, and regular communication seem to be the most pressing issues. It's not that far down the road to getting Rookie lists together. Things will eventually work themselves out...but in the meantime, people are getting pissed and that can't be good for PB in the long run. Our collective patience is wearing thin. Let's take some baby steps before we reinvent the wheel.
