Glad to see that my post inspired some of you to knock me. Of course I was trying to "kiss butt". Who the hell's butt am I kissing and for what gains? That's the most rediculous post aimed at me I've ever witnessed - and I don't put up many posts on this board except to point out positives or make game improvement suggestions.

I think many of my detractors didn't read my post carefully enough. I'm not condoning the slippage of PB over the years. What I was trying to say - so let me come right out and say it - is Mike took a lot of time and effort to provide us with his current views. They might not placate everyone and I may even be in that group. But, until you hear from him again (since no one knows why the communication stopped) cut him some slack. I note when he did sent all those posts several weeks ago there was praise from many quarters tempered, I will admit, with a let's wait and see attitude from many. Am I happy about the state of affairs? No, but if I'm not going to go negative, I prefer to look on the positive side and this game just has many more positives than negatives.

Well, that's it from me for awhile. I'll go back into my shell and hope to make some trades to help some of my more pathetic teams.

Come to think of it, It might be interesting to post here some of the rediculous trade offers received and the manager's name but with mostly "old timers" left I'm not getting as many of those as I used to get so that's not an option.

I'm not upset an anyone for disagreeing with me (name calling not withstanding) - this is after all still a free country, isn't it?
