Pedro Martinez and Curt Schilling and a Round 2 Free Agent pick for Chone Figgins, Jason Kubel, Adrian Gonzalez, Round 1 Rookie pick and a Round 8 Free Agent pick

Basically Kubel (who sat out all of last year with a catastrophic knee injury and has no obvious job this year), Gonzalez (A 1B with little powerin Texas heading to SD to battle Klesko for the job. If he does play that park will kill him), Figgins (a super sub who in his 27-year old breakout season still had a .650 OPS against lefties which makes him a platoon player) and a number 1 rookie lottery (Tied for 3rd worst record) pick for a 2/8 FA upgrade, a lottery ticket on Schilling and Pedro.

Mike posted the availability on this one day and accepted this trade in less than 18 hours, like it was the deal of the century and had to be snapped up quickly. We'll never know what other teams would've offered.

To top it off Pedro has since been spun by that GM as the centerpiece of a deal for 2 Lottery picks (1st and 6th worst records).
