My viewpoint in asking was that I didn't think the players offered were worth the pick. I see Suppan as a #4 starter and Ramirez about the same (if he can hold off competition). Top of the rotation pitching is a premium commodity but I didn't think that #4 starters were.

So far there are two votes that say the offer was ridiculous (including mine) and three that say the offer wasn't so bad.

So the majority (so far) says that I was wrong and its not as universally silly as I thought.
