Long Relievers - Buy Them!
Can someone help me? When a reliever starts a game, what is the conversion factor used to determine how many batters he may face? I just faced a team that had worn out their starters. They threw a long reliever who qualified as a starter at me in game 2 of the series. He faced 22 batters, limiting my team to 2 hits over 6 innings. No problem. Loss to me.
Three games later he starts again, facing 27 batters, limiting us to 6 hits over 7 innings. He now carries a <13> batters available.
I just realized I went up against Clark Kent.
