I respect your ideas and I enjoy your association. I failed to acknowledge your good points in your recommendations and for that failure, I sincerely apologize. I only hoped I could help you see that from my perspective (which I could be wrong) you are letting your past year trade attempts with Mike involving unmanaged trades dictate your believe that unmanaged trades with managed teams should stop. This is not in the best interest of the Leagues. The number of unmanaged TEAMS in the Leagues has very little if anything to do with unmanaged TRADES. Unmanaged Trades have not caused the present system breakdowns. On the contrary, unmanaged Trades have inspired participation with many existing members. The number of unmanaged TEAMS is a direct correlation to the MARKETING and CUSTOMER SUPPORT issues (see Mike's post above titled UMN rehash). So, please accept my earnest apology for the "hostility" I portrayed and for not complimenting you on your other recommendations to (a)continue allowing Mike to trade between unmanaged teams and (b) to consider allowing unmanaged teams to be taken over at a discount for a 2 year period. I sincerely hope that these discussions of our differnces will build our understanding and enhance our opportunities to enjoy this great forum and this terrific SIM game together.
