Mike Stay The Course

Posted By Mark Serri

Mike,
I was quite dismayed to read your last posting. I have never seen you get so down since going all the way back to the CSN days.As i write this I look back at all my old APBA journals with you columns and advice about sim leagues, stuff that helped me grow into the hobby.I really believe that the vast majority of PB players have total support for you and I think now would be a good time to show it.If you enjoy this game, if you can't wait to seet the results of Draft day, if you have made new friends in this league, if you really don't want to go back to rottiserie baseball, let's hear about it.
I firmly believe that whatever subjective decisions you make , you do for the good of the game, unmanaged trades included.Unmanaged trading works and it's a hell of a lot better than no unmanaged trading.
I had a team in the World Series this year.I waited awhile for things to be fixed and I did understand all of the frustration over this matter from other managers, not because things were broken, just because I was concerned I would miss a posting saying things were on again. You apologized profusely for that and it's a dead issue as far as I see.
Simply put; I enjoy the hell out of PB. I can think of no other instance in my life where I pay so little for so much enjoyment and the idea that somebody does this basically as a labor of love while operating a tractor trailer route blows me away.Even more surprising is the fact that EVERY TIME I have submitted a problem or a question to you I have gotten an almost immediate response.I try to put myself in your shoes and imagine doing this for virtually no compensation other than to keep my favorite hobby going and I simply can not do it.
That's it , Iv'e said my piece.Stay. Keep doing what you're doing It's a good thing and you do it as well or better than anybody could.
