IMOP you got the better deal. Time will tell and of course it may depend on the rookie you pick.

Granderson & Nady could end up being part time bench players - it looks likely to me at least. They may never be starters or they may be very good players - but it is a gamble IMOP.

Lane is almost assured of a full time spot.

I think Lane is at an age to max his potential over the next 3 years - and he should get the PA's that add value in PB. Granderson may be a part time player and is just "potential" - and potential is always over-rated in PB trading (IMHOP).

Even low #1 rookie picks in TRAD are likely to get you guys as good as Nady & Granderson long term though perhaps not with both the potential and actual good stats for the previous season.

Bottom line, I like Lane better than either of the other 2 by quite a bit. Just because a player is 25 years old doesn't mean in 5 years he'll be better than a current 30 year old will be at 35. I'll take Lane at 35 over Granderson or Nady at 30.
