I have to go with Joey on this
We have always had two days to make cuts in the past.
And the notion that people should have to arrange to be 5 points under the cap before the numbers are redone is a bit crazy IMO.
I'm already having enough trouble getting down to 108 in one league (started at 127 and I'd probably very close to 108 if I made my last cuts). To say that you should go down 4 more points for possibly no reason is a problem.
The real answer is that we need to have the stats re-run early enough that people have time to make some adjustments. This concept of having a salary cap that is not really set until a day or two before the draft is getting old.
If they can't have the cap set by at least Friday night (and by that I mean the stats updated, PB values updated, and new cap announced) then they really should postpone the draft.
The pre-season should be a good time to trade but they kill it with all of the uncertainty. Let everyone know the finalized cap and then give folks time to make adjustments. Its the fair thing to do.
