I agree with you completely. It's always interesting to watch people fall in love with the rookies available that year and then, just as quickly, lose interest in the player after only a year or two in the bigs learning to play. As you say, Reyes is 22 and much younger than many of the players in the rookie draft this year. He hasn't blossomed and perhaps he never will become a star player. But the jury is definitely still out and in my view he remains a top prospect.
