I agree with Mike and Tim. I think knowing the cap at least a couple days ahead will help. Mike's been on the road, so, I expect we'll have the numbers by Tuesday if he can run the park effects. Ken's point about the cap changing plus or - 3 or 4 points affecting teams plus or minus 3 or 4 ponts is valid excpet for a couple of things. Each team has a different park and has different players from different teams. Admittedly it's only happend to me twice since the cap has gone into effect, but, I have seen there be a differnce. 1 time the cap went up 3 from the projeced number while my team went up 4.2, and the other time there was a .8 difference both times very close, but, if your cutting things close this can make a difference. It'll happen with a very small percentage teams, but, it could and thus having the cap figures is important at least 2 days before the draft so if there needs to be deals done they can be done. I also don't see why the cutdown date can't be right before the FA draft rather than right after the rookie draft. I think that will add more trading and activity.
