While I agree with you that owners should put the time in and that you can turn a bad team around in a few years (I won Champs this year in my 3rd year; lots of fun), the facts seem to be that some people can't do it. They come in, take a bad franchise, try to build, flounder and leave. If we were fully populated at all times I'd say goodbye and move on. Give me a deep managerial pool with people like Gary and Anthony and the rest (You know who you are) of the guys who are up on all the players all the time. However we don't have that deep pool and as a result have a lot of Unmanaged teams and that hurts PB.

I think we need to at least try and find a way to help the bad teams get better. I also agree that it may not help; they might keep 3 mutts with those extra spots but at least we'd be trying. It's great to stay on top of things, do research and trade astutle to build a winner. It's a lot less fun when you're only beating unmanaged teams.
