Not that it is a terrible idea, but it does penalize the good teams by taking some of the fun out of the FA draft.

The original suggestion that started this thread helps poor teams but doesn't penalize the good teams.

Also - my suggestion at the bottom of this thread doesn't hurt the good teams, just helps the poor ones. I like that idea a lot.

I like both those ideas better than doing away with the random FA draft.

Why take the fun away from the top managers? We can all hope for a high FA pick. That's fun. There are better ways to help the poorer teams I think.
