Tanking is still a problem and shoudn't be rewarded
Mike everything you said is correct. I keep all my teams, but, what you mentioend would have been very easy for me do with my Boston Holybull team it did extremely well in it's first 2 years and I dealt away all my picks and everything to keep the team winning for that time and said the hell with the future. After a long while putting thru miserable season after miserable season, I've finally got the team in a position that maybe in a year or 2 it might be playoff ready. I think your correct that releasing teams like that and picking up others is an easy, but, so, is tanking games. You get yourself a top 5 pick 4 years in a row and your team can get into contention very fast with good drafting. Last year in 1 of my leagues and I'm not going to be specific I saw a team have all of his big players on the bench while cemnting himself a lottery pick against one of my oponents. I don't care that team made the playoffs anyway. The point is tanking is done and it shouldn't be rewarded. That's why I'm stating there should be no weighting as far as draft picks are concerned.
