I agree, staying on top is easy, lets change the FA draft.

First, I'm not suggesting we make this change to help any of my teams. I finish with a better than .500 record pretty much every year with all my teams.

Giving the bonus of an extra high pick in the FA draft will make leagues more competitive.

In most leagues this year the top 5-6 picks are pretty good with either players that can help for many years or the chance to trade the pick for good prospects. Why should a playoff team get the first pick so they can trade it for a good pitcher or use it on a possible allstar. Give the picks out the same way we do for the rookie picks.

In order to combat the throwing of games make the lotto system include all teams not in the playoffs for both rookie and FA draft. Then weight it from worst to best(currently it would be 14% down to 1.4%), with ever team having two additional chances(changes to 12% down to 3.4%).

If your good, your going to stay good. If your not, this change will give you an extra player that is decent, evening the playing field. Since we are all here for the competition, to me thats a good change.
