Trading Style

I'm not signing my name so this can stay a big picture discussion, not personal.

I've been seeing more trading discussiion of this nature:

Team A comes to me, either in response to a trade offerinng announcement on the league page or on their own, and expresses interest in a player or players. Asks what I'd want.

I throw out some names. He declines but reiterates his interest. Asks me to come up with something else. This goes on for another round or ends there with me saying after his last refusal that I just don't see a fit.

Team A comes back saying they're still really interested but won't move on the players I suggested. Asks me to propose something else.

I suggest that they propose somthing.

Team A proposes (for my rebuilding team) giving me Magglio Ordonez for Freddy Garcia and David Eckstein.

In another league, different owner, after not finding a fit for one of the top group of pitchers from this past rookie draft, they offer me Matt Lawton for him when I have 3 stud OF's and 8 FA picks to acquire a decent backup. This after me making it clear I wasn't eaager to trade him.

We all ask the other guy to give us an idea what they are looking for and even to propose a trade but if you turn it down and are still interested then send a trade idea of your own over. Don't keep emailing me to send another proposal to you. As far as the stupid trade offers are concerned, I guess that's never going away.

Thanks, I needed to vent.
