These guys were taken in the top couple rounds of Trad. draft. They were available over a 5 month period of RT drafting, with at least 4 guys in each of those drafts, with a couple guys lasting until pick 8.

Robinson Cano

These guys were then available in the rookie draft:

Scott Kazmir

Dallas McPherson
Victor Diaz
J.J. Hardy
Jeremy Reed
Andy Sisco
Chris Young
Jeff Francis
Denny Bautista

I'd be able to get at most 5 of these guys in a traditional draft, while in RT I can get 8 of these guys(if my team is in the bottom 5). Thats 60% more players under the RT method for a losing team.

I think the unpredictability of RT makes scoping out players more difficult as you don't have a full basis of a season to gauge the value of a player. But a guy armed with BA's top 100 list along with attheplates.com composite top 100 will generate more top rookies in RT than in traditionally, mainly because you get more draft picks.
