Paul's right, click the reorder-reset button whenever you insert new players, or change batting or fielding positions. It also helps to to in through tools/internet options, and get rid of cookies and delete files. If you have more than one team, you might want to do this after each team you set than close explorer and open again. A hassle, but you see the alternative.
