Per the rules if you use a 4 man rotation the ROBOT will pull your starter in time to keep your rotation in tact. And since the robot gets settings for each game based on what you submit (or defualt if no game lineup submitted) then the proposed method would work.

As a matter of practice I often use 4 man rotations especially in leagues where my 5th starter is crummy or I have limited innings from a decent 5th starter.
