I'm not sure I can quantify it, but I've had guys score from third against me when it was a ground ball to the pitcher.... I've got my baserunning set to "average", but I have guys not try to advance from 2nd or 3rd on infield groundballs when it would otherwise be considered "normal" to take the base. Yet in the same series I will have a baserunner get thrown out "easy" on a basehit to left when they theoretically shouldn't try to advance.
I certainly don't have enough evidence to think that it's "over the top" bad, but I will agree that I've seen some strange things.

Of course, I'm a Red Sox fan, and we have Wendell Kim sending everybody home, so I'm used to strange baserunning......
