De-bunking this unsigned post

Posted By Tim A

You can talk about perceived value and in theory its a nice discussion item. However, in the last couple years so many teams have become so inactive that it's really hard to drum up trades sometimes.

I've put out bulletin board posts in a couple leagues for guys that I perceive to be pretty good hitters (including Richie Sexson, Troy Glaus, and Morgan Ensburg) and the only real inquiry I got was someone that might consider trading an unproven pitching prospect for Sexson.

So maybe I'm off base and folks think Sexson has not value. Or maybe everyone has a "different perception."

The other point is that some folks will only do a deal if its a complete ripoff, but that's a whole other thread.
