Career Numbers Much Closer Than the Years you picked, Mike

As one of the headlines below indicate, I'd take Lee but...
Don't you think including 2003-2005 for your measure is a bit biased, given Konerko's dismal 2003? 
You have a point on steals and Defense, but career stats (take their WHOLE career!):
            HR   OBP  BA   SLG
Lee         211  .364 .276 .502
Konerko     218  .351 .280 .491
Konerko's six months younger, so they are virtually the same age; both came up in '97.
The question isn't whether Lee is better, but whether there's so much difference that a trade should be vetoed.  And a team wanting to win  on '06 stats could well prefer Konerko, given Lee's wrist surgery.
