Konerko vs. Lee....
I personally agree with Mike on this one. Lee is the better defensive first baseman and can steal which Konerko cannot. Also, Konerko has played most of his career in Chicago which is more "hitter friendly" then Joe Robe Stadium in Florida where Lee has played most of his career.
Both players started thier careers in 1997, Konerko with the Dodgers and Lee with San Diago. Lee went to Florida the next year and stayed till 2004 when he went to the Cubs. Konerko went to Cinncinnatti midway in 1998 then to the White Sox in 1999.
With this in mind, compare the home field advantage for them from 1999 till 2003 and you will find that Chicago's HRs for RH batters averaged 117 while Florida's HRs for RH batters averaged 87. Even with this large disparity, Lee still has at least kept up with Konerko. Makes one wonder what Lee would have done IF he played in a "hitter friendly" ball park.
