On 9/24 the commisioner posted below to "playing
players out of position as catchers" that if we saw anyone doing that to tell the commish.In 99RT4 The New Orleans Pelicans with both catchers overused are using SS & OF to catch. This takes the running game away from the opposition.
When I notified the commish prior to the end of the last series on 10/25 he told me that in version 8 this strategy would backfire but in the meantime it looks as New Orleans has quite an advantage in its league. Why didn't the commish just assign an innocuous catcher to the team. As of todays roster he hasn't done so. I am not in the same circuit and don't have to play New Orleans so its not sour grapes.
