Yes I have another opinion. My thoughts.

If we all agree that Lee/Konerko is fair(most of us did in a previous discussion) and that Arroyo/Blanton is fair(Blanton younger and better this year, so far Arroyo better next year), then that leaves Bell/Arod thus a very bad deal.

1st, I can pick up someone like Bell with a 2nd/3rd round FA pick.

2nd, you can't use the stats of a player for the current year if you only use 1 league of stats. Go through 20 leagues of stats and if a player is underperforming in every league then you might have a better argument. Konerko has a .970 OPS in C15 where he is on one of my competitors.

3rd, don't use ave. when justifying trades. I'll take a .250 .500 .375 hitter over a .300 .400 .350 hitter every day of the week(everything else being equal). Use OPS. Its been proven its the second best indicator to judge how many runs will be scored by a team(and the best requires lots of calculations, no thanks).

4th, calling an offer stupid isn't a major problem, calling someones justification stupid isn't the words I would choose as it could be interpreted as calling someone stupid. I'd go with offbase, incorrect, etc.

5th, the new offer with Webb was a better offer.
