Those are definately good ideas. There would probably be some programming difficulties with the "blowout" decisions, but I would think that it shouldn't be terribly difficult to add a pitching category, a la "specialist" to limit that problem with your lefty getting Mark Grace out, but then being left in to face Sammy Sooser.

Also, there were rumors of "head-to-head" for the playoffs being tossed about by the PB staff as possible "coming attractions". Since we haven't heard much on this recently, I would presume that it isn't ready to fly for this season, but it doesn't hurt to ask....
