I can't possibly express how angry I would be if I lost a playoff round because of an ace reliever who had fewer than three starts. All the work involved for drafting, all the emotional energy you need to invest and POOF! everything lost because Pedro Martinez couldn't outpitch Jeff Zimmerman in the seventh deciding game. (Yes, I know he didn't start this year, I'm just being purely hypothetical). Besides the point isn't whether someone actually did lose the series, but that it's foreseeable.
