I'm right with you on this one. There seems to be very little awareness in the majors of leftie/rightie stats. While I concede that lineups do sometimes change according to pitching, it generally doesn't seem to be based on the stats, rather just on the traditional rightie hitter vs. lefte pitcher and vice versa (even if the stats don't support this).
