Money and Rules
There are two issues here:
One is the fact that the engine doesn't always take care of every anamoly (we will release another version of the game after the current Perpetual playoffs are over). In this case, I chose to take the players away from Big Al because he is a known scoundrel and a detrement to any PB league he joins (whatever the alias he employs). Big Al is not welcome in any perpetual PB league and he knows it! Money had nothing to do with the decision---I made the decision in favor of the other managers in the league---whether they are paying managers or not.
The second issue is that we want the engine (game) to take care of the problems but there is only one game engine and Launch Leagues are not the end product at PB. The leagues are designed as a fun and informative teaching tool for perpetual leagues. Because injuries are limited and time is short in Launch leagues, some anomalies are more serious than they are in Perpetual Leagues.
