I for one agree with Parch wholeheartedly. I think his proposal would also help curb the explosive offense that is evident in this year's launch leagues where any fantasy team with an ERA under 5.50 is considered exceptional. Since people always explain that platooning directly results in the significant increase in offense for our fantasy leagues (and I'm referring to the traditional leagues, not real-time), why not limit the players only to 110% of the PAs each player had for each side? Personally I think it's a great idea. Of course, I have no idea how difficult this would be to enact using PB's current software, but if there was any acknowledged move towards such a proposal (even if it took a decade), I for one would be quite pleased. In fact, of all the problems with PB, the only one that truly drives me crazy is the out-of-whack offence. And this year, I have no pitching!

Just as an aside, does anyone have any idea what break down the game uses for hitting, pitching and defence? I would think it might be 50% hitting, 40% pitching and 10% defence, although sometimes it seems to be more like 70% hitting, 25% pitching and 5% defence.
