The negatives
Now that I've thought about it, there are some negatives. The entire roster could be full of innoc prospects. The team would be bad ....very bad.... which is not a very realistic situation at all.
Of course a team could do that now, but making players automatically innoc would make this scenario easier to abuse. You wouldn't care at all about AB's or innings unless you were going for a win. Not a good thing.
There are probably other bad situations that I haven't thought out by making such a drastic change. It was only an idea.
I still like the the platoon innoc idea, which is the same as making everybody "platoon" under the existing rules. When a player runs out of AB's on a certain side, he should become lousy on that side. He shouldn't be able to use his total AB's for a specific advantage.
