Those of you in the 98 and 99 Traditional leagues have probably seen Mike's message that he planned to rename the 98 T-1 league Y21 (Cy Young) and the 99 T-1 league M23 (Christy Mathewson).

I wrote to him asking that 98 T-1 (a league I'm in) get the Christy Mathewson designation instead of the Cy Young designation, and he requested I post about it here to get some feedback on it since he had announced it already.

The reason for my request is that both Mathewson and I share the same alma mater in Bucknell University, and it would be great if I could be in "his" league. Mathewson is Bucknell's only true sports legend, and both the football stadium and the gate that stands near the entrance to the campus are named in his honor, and I have a painting of that gate at home. The friend who introduced me to PureBaseball also went ot Bucknell and is in 98 T-1 as well, so I think naming that league after him is fitting.

So if no one objects, I hope that 98 T-1 can become M21 - the Mathewson League. If you do object, write here or to Mike with your reasoning.
