I guess I'm a stuffed shirt, but I don't think Rose deserves a league name. Apart from the fact that every single player already given a league is a better player than Rose ever was and there are at least 20 more players you could pick before him on ability alone, the main problem is he broke the top commandment of baseball and has never shown any remorse, other than remorse he was punished for it. This makes him unworthy of a "legend" status in my opinion.

Players like Honus Wagner, Jackie Robinson, Frank Robinson, Mike Schmidt, Josh Gibson, Willie Mays are guys just off the top of my head who are more deserving, and we haven't gotten to pitchers like Koufax, Spahn, Seaver, Carlton, Ryan, Page and the three already proposed in Young, Mathewson, and Johnson....
