Though I am Giants fan, I have no problem with
Koufax (g) for a League name, especially if
the idea of using pitchers for RT leagues
is the plan.

Someone also asked for Mathewson, which is
likewise fine with me.

I understand that the default suggestion was
Young, which, while I don't hate, also doesn't
leap out at me.

Though no organized basball leagues that I
know of use it, interestingly, the most popular
"independent" baseball league name (among
simulation leagues) is Buck Weaver.
