Just as a clarification on the Pudge-Pickle...

My Hicksville team attempted 1 straight steal, and he was (expectedly) gunned down.

The rest of my 4 SB's came on hit & runs that failed, at least twice (by memory) on pitchouts. Both times, Pudge threw it high and I got in safely, even with speed-merchants like McGriff, Baines, Tony Fernandez, and Quilvio Veras (ok, at least he has some speed).
On the positive-Pudge side, I will say that he picked 1 guy off 3rd, and almost got 2 others, so he IS doing something "spectacularly", but the pitch-outs defiantely failed for him.
Don't know if this means anything as far as the programming, or if it's just bad luck (McGwire with 17 dingers in 20 games is pretty unrealistic , but that's happening in our league as well), but that was the basic scenario in case there are other similarities somewhere else.....
