When I first designed the game, it was meant for NET play only. The chief reason was that after being introduced to competitive draft leagues I had lost all interest for stand alone replays--that was my experience in the 70's anyway.

The new demo game at http://demogame.purebaseball.com is a stand alone SERIES game which could lead to a lot more KING OF THE HILL type games.

Please take the time to play it and let me in on any ideas you have for competitive short season leagues.

Old season replay seasons are in the hopper but will require significant "dumbing down" of the game algorithms to allow for less statisitcal information availalble before 1987.
