This topic of the platoon "degradation" has been discussed in the past. I started a thread last fall about Jeff Reed an his platoon status. He went over his limit of PA vs LHP by 4x but still hit WELL over his LOPS. Nothing was ever answered, just that the platoon factor needs to be looked at.

Just search the main message board (ctrl-f for find) and look for Platoon or Reed.
