Tim makes a valid point; in the majors for a player to be retained in the farm system, by leaving the 40 man roster, he must clear waivers.

Why not emulate that in PB? For each player above 40 added to a team, someone must clear waivers to allow the new player(s) to be acquired.

It would allow rosters as large as you want, help the rebuilding teams, and make the game more realistic. Thoughts?
