There are about 25 leagues and over 500 teams that started their season on the 6th. I don't know if the 28 teams that have no managers were done on time but even if they were not it would not take that long to cut them. I have seen a number of managers in the 11 leagues that I am in do vertually nothing with their teams during the season. They make up the team lineups at the beginning of the season and do nothing the rest of the year. I have seen teams that had managers have players who had been injured for over 20 games still on the active rosters and still being scheduled to play in every series.
I too was very frustrated with the delay but let's not put the whole blame on the Purebaseball staff. Most of it belongs to those managers that did not do their job before the beginning of the season no matter how little time they had. If I was on the staff I would of just randomly cut the required players to get to the 25 man limit with no regard of who was sent down. However, I doubt that the PB staff did that.
