My take on on the Play-by-play is this:

I figure that the sim first determines the result, and then fills in a play-by-play comment that fits the result.

If this is true, your robbed HR is no different than my fly out to shallow CF (especially in the boxscore!).

I love the play-by-play (and even slow it down a bit to lend an air of suspense to my games), but I realize that that it's just gravy.

I seem to remember a similar discussion on this board about opposite field HRs. Sounds like the same kind of thing. I think the consensus was that the important thing was that it was a HR, not where it was hit...

Anybody else have any thoughts...?
