Pitcher Selection
One of the great benefits of playing at home in PB is that you will know exacally who your opponent is starting. In the past, there have been ways to mislead your opponent when setting your lineup for road games by starting tired pitchers. That bug may have been fixed. I don't know because I havn't played any games yet this year. If it isn't fixed yet you should ALWAYS check the status of your opponents pitchers before you select your lineup. The PB rules tell you exacally how the robot selects an alternate pitcher if the one your oppenent has selected is not eligable to start.
You can select lineups for individual games in your away series by using the links on the schedule page. By looking at the status of your opponents rotation you can approximate what the probable starters will be and set your away lineup accordingly. There are no guarantees though. Chaulk it up to home field advantage is what I say.
Hope that helps.
Cameron.
