CF Drops II
I just played 2 games against a team with Matt Stairs as their CF. In Game 1 he booted 2 balls and hurt his team. In Game 2 he roamed the earth making diving, leaping, acrobatic catches shallow and deep, left and right. He's 3 foot tall and can't jump, how high was this fence he scaled ?
My point is that I agree with the original post, both of these results are unrealistic. Can't the game distinguish between routine plays and plays in which the CF's range makes the play possible ? I don't want to hear that the description is irrelevant either. If that's the case, change the descriptions, I don't want to read stupid stuff about Matt "Say Hey" Stairs.
If the idea is to punish the manager for playing Stairs in CF then how about letting a few more singles fall in and doubles get through rather than making a sure-handed but slow player into a totally inept fielder half the time and twice as good as Mike Cameron the other half.
